What kind of class meets twice a week for three hours each class period that makes me wish we met more often? Intro to Computers in Design. I tell ya, I can't get enough of that class. Yesterday I finished my three part cover design of a spider drinking out of a straw and cup. This is my best work yet. I'm extremely proud of it.
I'm even more excited for our next project. At random (we drew straws) I selected the assignment of designing a package deal for some sort of Novelty Ice Cream.
C'mon now, I almost live for novelty items. I purchased a mouth spray from Hastings that claims to give an instant Irish accent. It's great. I've already made some notes of ideas I'm working over in my mind. I'll keep brainstorming. I'm even borrowing ideas from my 2nd grade (seven year old) self. Such titles as, "Chocolate Liver" and "Club Kukamunga". :) We'll see what I come up with between now and tomorrow.
I could see myself doing stuff like this for the rest of my life.
