I spent last night at a lock in at my church. Not a whole lot of people went but I still had fun. I took along my buddy Brandi. We did an assortment of things...I hope to just add highlights...
There were a group of people from D.C. who were putting on skits, playing music, and stuff on the stage...at one point they have two people go and find props so they can act with them like the show "Who's Line is it Anyway?". The bit prior to that (answering a question with a question wasn't too funny with people from the audience) and seeing the sad attempt these next people had with the props was really that, sad. So I whisper to Brandi that we'd do so much better since we've got more imagination to things. When they ask for a couple more people Brandi and I gladly volunteer. Our props are two orange cones of different sizes. Our first attempt: we both have ice cream cones where her's is bigger than mine; our second: Brandi takes both cones, puts her arms into them, and wiggles her arms and says "this is my lucky fin" in reference to "Finding Nemo" :); our third: I take the big cone and put it under my right knee, Brandi takes the other cone and sticks it over her mouth and gets close to my shoulder, I then cover my eye with my other hand, I was a pirate! :) We had more ideas in the making but the people in charge of it said we were great and that was enough. :) We were great.
I stayed up the entire night (didn't go to sleep until I got home at 6:40 am, then I slept all day until 4:09 pm). I even played a game in which we'd take an orange cone and try to gracefully throw it onto a grouping of balloons to pop 'em, land upright, or other things. We even judged the toss.
As it got later Brandi and I got crazier in our talk. :) Just like Tish and I use to do, except differently as it should be.
