So tired and so excited...Today from about 6:30 to almost 9:00 I worked at school ("Family Art Night") with my mom and other families on a mosaic of Buhler's mascot: a Crusader. At first I wasn't all that thrilled about designing an armored guy but it turned out to be really fun. We had four seperate groups, I ended up picking the most detailed part because I just had to have the hand. I worked with Kat and her parents breaking up colored tile with a hammer, putting down the grout, and aranging the tile pieces. None of us finished when I left but we had some good progress. It looked really nice. I'd like to do a big art project like that now.
Someday I just want a whole room in my house to be deticated to doing art. I want a manual pottery wheel, a drawing desk (the ones that slant up), and eisle if I really change my mind about painting, and a whole bunch of art supplies (I'm talkin' a never ending supply of oil pastels, markers, colored pencils, crayons, pencils, erasers, glue, charcol, paper), plus a computer with photoshop, illustrator, dreamweaver (and a scanner/printer/digital camera). That'd be my artistic dream.
:)
Happy Birthday to Nick!
