I took another online test. I've been curious lately about being left-handed and how I think. I searched Google and found on About.com a quiz for artists regarding their brain hemispheres. I use my right brain hemisphere much more than my left. That makes sense. I'm unorganized, generally late to my 8:00 drawing class, I go by my feelings in everything, I'm an impulsive buyer, and abstract thinker, I love music when I work, and I have a general idea of how I want my piece to look at the end. So, I knew that. Quizes just help me realize it.
My room is a mess and I'm leaving tomorrow for Anthony, NM to visit my family once more. Maybe I'll be able to visit my friends down in Albuquerque for a couple days, I'm not sure. I haven't seen any of them since May or longer.
The other day my friend Bonnie and I traveled to Topeka, KS with two of my art teachers (Teresa and Scott) to lobby for the arts and education. We only spoke to one Rep because we couldn't get a hold of Terry Bruce or any of the others. It was interesting. I wish I was more prepared with opinions and knowledge. I was slightly nervous because I was under the impression that I had to speak to a Rep individually. One of them said that the K-12 is getting the funding for the arts over the higher education. I don't know if I expect to see any funding for high education from the state, at least not specifically for the arts. Perhaps more supplies or more scholarships. I do prefer having my own supplies though. So, I'm not sure.
Did I post that I was accepted to Wichita State University? Well, I was. I'm going there next semester for graphic design. Hopefully I can research those places Scott recommended to me. I need to find a job out there.
I feel unmotivated.
